SolarProSolarPro Privacy Policy
Version 2026-11-05. Effective 5 November 2026.
1. Who we are
Danytronics Technologies, a business registered in Nigeria under number BN 9912586, of 3A Igbinoba Street, Otofure, Benin City, Nigeria ("Danytronics", "we", "us"), provides SolarPro. For the personal information described in section 3, we are the data controller under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 ("NDPA"). Contact for privacy questions: danytronics45@gmail.com.
2. What we do NOT receive: your business records
SolarPro keeps your business records on your own computer: your customers' names, phone numbers, emails, addresses and site locations, quotations, invoices, payments, receipts, the cash book, stock, suppliers, projects, site survey photos, commissioning and maintenance records, and attached files. They are not sent to us and we do not hold them. For your own customers' personal information, your business is responsible under data protection law.
3. What we collect, why, and on what basis

Advertisements: the free plan shows advertisements. We count only how many times each advertisement is shown and clicked each day, as totals. We do not record who saw or clicked an advertisement, and no advertising network or tracking is used.
No cookies or tracking are used by the SolarPro program.
4. Who handles information for us
We use these providers, under their terms and data protection commitments:
- Render (Render Services, Inc., United States): hosts our online service and its database, in its Frankfurt, Germany region.
- Paystack (Paystack Payments Limited, Nigeria, part of Stripe): processes payments on its own page. We never see or store card or bank details; Paystack tells us whether a payment succeeded.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France): sends our account emails (verification, password reset, sign-in codes, deletion notices). It receives the recipient's email address and the email.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We disclose information only where the law requires it or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
5. Transfers outside Nigeria
Our online service is hosted in Germany and our email provider is in France, so account information is transferred outside Nigeria. We do so because it is needed to provide SolarPro to you, and we rely on the data protection safeguards our providers commit to in their terms. Both Germany and France apply the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation.
6. How long we keep information
Old information is deleted automatically every day, on this schedule:
- Security log (account events with internet addresses) and payment messages from Paystack: 12 months.
- Free-plan counts, business profile change dates and advertisement totals: 24 months. The date your business profile was first set up, and its latest change, are kept while your account exists, because the 3-month rule needs them.
- Sign-in sessions, one-time links and sign-in codes: 30 days after they expire.
- Payment records: 6 years, for tax and accounting.
- Your account (email, name, computers): while your account exists. After a confirmed deletion request, we delete it within 30 days, except payment records we must keep.
7. How we protect information
Passwords are stored only with a strong one-way method (Argon2id); sign-in tokens and links only as one-way fingerprints. All connections use encryption (HTTPS). The database cannot be reached from the internet, only by our service. The service signs its answers so they cannot be faked. No method is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission as the NDPA requires.
8. Your rights
Under the NDPA you have the right to:
- be informed about how your personal information is used (this policy);
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- have it corrected (you can change your name and password in the Account screen);
- have it deleted (Account, Request account deletion), subject to records we must keep;
- restrict or object to some uses, including those based on legitimate interest;
- receive your information in a common format (data portability);
- withdraw consent where we rely on it;
- complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng).

9. Children
SolarPro is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information about children.
10. Changes to this policy
We will show the new policy in SolarPro (and by email for significant changes) before it applies, and keep a record of which version you accepted.
