SolarPro Terms of Service
Version 2026-11-05. Effective 5 November 2026.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
1.1 SolarPro is software provided by Danytronics Technologies, a business registered in Nigeria under number BN 9912586, of 3A Igbinoba Street, Otofure, Benin City, Nigeria ("Danytronics", "we", "us"). Contact: danytronics45@gmail.com.
1.2 These terms apply to the SolarPro desktop program for Windows, the SolarPro online service that the program uses for accounts, plans and limits, and any updates (together, "SolarPro").
1.3 By creating a SolarPro account, or by installing and using SolarPro, you agree to these terms and to the SolarPro Privacy Policy. If you use SolarPro for a business, you confirm that you may accept these terms for that business, and "you" means the business.
2. Who may use SolarPro
2.1 SolarPro is made for businesses that design, sell, install or maintain solar and power systems, and for their staff. It is not offered to consumers for personal use.
2.2 You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
3. Your account
3.1 You need a SolarPro account (email and password) to calculate, add customers, make new quotations and issue invoices. Your records and exports stay available without an account.
3.2 Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
3.3 One active computer. An account is active on one computer at a time. Signing in on another computer switches the account to it; the previous computer then stops having access to the account's features until it is switched back. You may revoke a lost or stolen computer from the Account screen.
3.4 Business profile. The business profile (business name, contact details, address, bank details and logo) may be set up freely, changed freely for 7 days after it is first saved, and after that changed once every 3 months. This is to stop one account being shared by several businesses. If your bank account changes, contact us and we may allow an earlier change.
4. The free plan and the subscription
4.1 Free plan. You may use SolarPro free of charge with these monthly limits: 20 engineering calculations, 25 new customers, 15 new quotations and 15 invoices issued. The free plan shows advertisements, prints "Made with SolarPro Free" on documents, and needs an internet connection; without one, records can be viewed, printed, exported and backed up but not changed. Limits are counted by our online service and restart on the 1st of each month (00:00 UTC). We may change the free plan's limits with notice under section 13.
4.2 Subscription. A subscription removes the limits, advertisements and the document mark, and lets SolarPro work without the internet for up to 14 days after each online check. Prices are shown in the program before you pay: currently NGN 5,500 for one month or NGN 60,000 for twelve months. Prices include VAT where it applies.
4.3 Paying. Payments are made through Paystack. We never see or keep your card details. A subscription starts when Paystack confirms the payment to us. Paying before the current period ends adds the new month or year to the current end date.
4.4 No automatic renewal. A subscription does not renew by itself; it ends at the end of the paid period unless you pay again. When it ends, SolarPro continues on the free plan and your records stay available.
4.5 Refunds. Payments are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund or where a payment was taken twice by mistake, in which case we refund the duplicate payment.
4.6 Price changes. We may change prices. A change does not affect a period you have already paid for, and we will show new prices in the program before you pay.
5. Your records
5.1 Your records stay on your computer. Customers, quotations, invoices, payments, receipts, the cash book, stock, suppliers, projects, site surveys, commissioning and maintenance records and attached files are kept in your own SolarPro data folder. We do not receive or hold them.
5.2 You are responsible for your records, including making and keeping backups. SolarPro offers backups (with an optional password) in Settings; a password-locked backup cannot be opened without its password, and we cannot recover it.
5.3 Your customers' personal information. You decide what you keep about your own customers in SolarPro, and you are responsible for complying with data protection law for it, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. That information never reaches us.
6. Engineering results
6.1 SolarPro's calculators and System Designer give estimates from the figures you enter. SolarPro contains no manufacturer data of its own and does not replace manufacturers' data, the applicable standards and regulations, or the judgement of a competent installer.
6.2 You are responsible for checking every design, calculation and document before relying on it, and for the installations you carry out. SolarPro's words such as "Suitable on the checks entered" describe only the checks performed on the figures entered.
7. Advertisements
7.1 The free plan shows advertisements chosen by Danytronics. Clicking an advertisement opens the advertiser's own website, which we do not control; its own terms and privacy policy apply there. We do not endorse or guarantee advertisers' products or services.
7.2 We count how many times each advertisement is shown and clicked, as totals only; we do not record who saw or clicked it.
8. Using SolarPro properly
You must not:
- copy, sell, rent or share SolarPro or an account, or let several businesses use one account;
- try to get round the free plan's limits, the subscription, the one-computer rule or the business profile rule, including by changing the program or its files;
- take apart, decompile or modify the program, except where the law allows it;
- interfere with or overload the online service, or try to reach other users' information;
- use SolarPro for anything unlawful, including sending documents that mislead customers.
9. Our rights in SolarPro
SolarPro, its program, designs, documents and name are owned by Danytronics or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use SolarPro for your business under these terms. You keep all rights in your own records.
10. Availability and changes to SolarPro
10.1 We aim to keep the online service available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, internet problems or our providers may interrupt it.
10.2 We may change, improve or stop features. If we stop SolarPro altogether, we will give at least 60 days' notice, and your records will remain on your computer.
11. Suspension and ending
11.1 You may stop using SolarPro at any time, and may ask for your account to be deleted from the Account screen.
11.2 We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or where the law requires, with notice where reasonable. If we close an account for no fault of yours during a paid period, we refund the unused part of that period.
11.3 When an account ends, your records stay on your computer. Account information is kept or deleted as the Privacy Policy describes.
12. Liability
12.1 SolarPro is provided as it is, to the extent the law allows.
12.2 We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of records you did not back up, or indirect loss, nor for loss caused by figures entered, designs or installations, or advertisers' websites.
12.3 Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for SolarPro in the 12 months before the claim.
12.4 Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will show the new terms in SolarPro (and by email for significant changes) at least 30 days before they apply. If you continue to use SolarPro after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you may stop using it.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction. Please contact us first at danytronics45@gmail.com so we can try to resolve any problem.
